Transcription (exactly as originally handwritten) of Thomas Benton Bell's letter to Carroll County clerk J. S. requesting a marriage license for his daughter, Louzana Bailey Bell, to Joseph Henry Bishop. The two were married six days later.

The marriage record is filed in the Berryville courthouse in Carroll County, AR, Book G, page 317.
